I live in Charlotte NC and am very interested in obtaining a piece of real estate which appears to have been abandoned. The property was left by will to 5 siblings who I don't believe reside locally. The Real Estate Tax Division only lists the property address as the location for which to contact the owners. The Wills & Estate Division also shows the same. There are at least 5 years worth of unpaid property taxes. How can I use this debt to accelerate the purchase of this property, and what other avenues exist for locating the owners to make them an offer?
