Travel update 1/19/99

I have been in northern AZ near Sedona for a while and just recently finally bought an F350 diesel 4 x 4 and a Lance truck camper. Fortunately a friend helped me in my search and now we're nearly ready to head for the desert for a few days.

Between the truck search, my ongoing struggles with AT&T, a zillion things to do and *occasional* sight seeing I've been struggling to keep up with E-mail. I hope to get a few hours to spend on the Forums before we leave. I'd really like to add how Home Savings and Check Systems (Experian) managed to mess up my life once again. Until last week I couldn't open a bank account and I ended up having to drive 1,500 miles to find out that Home Savings INCORRECTLY reported that I owed $16.46.

With a lotta luck AT&T will get me a phone with a modem/cable later this week. I'll also get the Ham equipment to do at least E-mail while in the boonies, but that will take a while.

I will definitely make an effort to update the web site and respond to the Forum postings.

As always, my Clients can reach me at my San Francisco Jfax #. Speaking of the City, I'll be in the Bay Area for a few days in early Feb on my way to or from Oregon to register my truck. Please send me an E-mail if you'd like to get together.

But first thing's first: Can't wait to get back to the desert and see where that truck will take me!
