I had E-mailed Anna right after she posted. Unfortunately I haven't heard from her in weeks now.
I feel that Cal Fed had no right to change the agreement. Not being a lawyer, all I can do is write to Cal Fed and ask for a statement to be published here. Sometimes companies will respond (see http://www.bayhouse.com/GTE.html) and sometimes they couldn't care less.
Please mail to me the documentation, and I'll send out a letter free of charge, as time permits.

I KNOW that lenders ROUTINELY defraud borrowers with financial problems. They don't post payments, add fraudulent charges, break agreements, make false statements, ....
They do it because they CAN. There is NO fine, no penalty for a lender who gets caught. The licensing agencies only require that the "error" be fixed.
It's up to YOU to fight back!
