The difference between the IRS and credit reporting is that the IRS doesn't have any lobbyists.
I recently found a letter from Tom Lantos responding very favorably to my complaints about credit reporting in ** 1991 **. The finance industry is very powerful and prevented any real changes in credit reporting laws.
My experiences with the new FCRA have been rather disappointing.
And as far as Scoring goes, I got hard evidence that the software comes up with different Scores for the same report.
So, what do we do?
