Hi, I need some help on what to do to dispute on my credit. Several years ago my boyfriend and I had a joint account on a credit card. When we broke up, I cancelled the account but somehow he was able to keep on charging on it. He has stop making payment on it and now the credit company is harassing me into paying it. I will not pay for it. Is that a good decision. I don't really want a bad rating but this frustrate me so, cause I cancelled it and now they are making me pay on something that I didn't not charge. Is there any way I can dispute with the credit company saying I shouldn't be the one paying for the debt. If anyone else have any other suggestion I would be very appreciated. Please Help!
