X spouse's Chapter 13 hurt my credit report

My X spouse was made liable through Texas Divorce Court for debt that was in both our names. Now she has filed Chapter 13 the creditors are calling me. I was never notified by my X or the creditors. I found out when I saw my credit report. I have talked to 2 attorneys in San Antonio that have said that there isn't much that I can do about this situation.
I find that hard to believe...I must have some rights available to me.
